  2. I live on Fowl River and I have a hard time getting a good signal down here. Love your music though.

  3. I stumbled across the crab the other night & wow! I couldn’t believe it , music w/ out the commercial garbage! Awesome ! Do you guys have T-shirts yet ? I would wear one proudly.
    Keep on rockin!

  4. I would like to be able to see which songs are playing as I stream the station so I know who it is and what the song is called.

  5. I came across the station after going at the dial from your sister station, 93ZEW. I truly believe you can give the big box stations a real run for their money. You do not have the basic cookie cutter sound like the other stations.

  6. Thank you, Tim and whoever else is responsible for bringing “The Crab” to the airwaves. Every time “The Crab “ is on I just want to ride up and down the causeway. I have listened to the ZEW for years and love the addition of the CRAB. And I do support the advertisers (Shoutout to Roger and Charles at the Tinder Box). Thanks again and keep up the good work! LOCAL RADIO FOREVER!!!!

  7. I love the station, but the signal is weak. I live in west Mobile, and the signal has bleed over with a rock station on the same frequency that broadcasts out of Jackson County in Mississippi.

  8. Hey I love yalls radio station and all the lesser heard songs yall play. I had a couple of questions, why do yall broadcast on two frequencies and do you think you’ll increase the signal strength of the station? I absolutely love the station but I get so much static out here in Dawes that its hard to listen sometimes, i can kinda of pick in my car, but there is no chance of picking it up on my record player at home unfortunately…

Would it be ok for me to make a request? Can you play The Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson sometime? Its one of my favorite songs 🙂

  9. I am involved with a local band in mobile called: The Loww Down. We play southern rock. Love your station so far. Heard for first time today.

  10. Thanks Dude! You got great taste!
    1. We were moving The Crab to 96.5 fm. Crab still lives on 92.1 HD2 too
    2. Hope the move to 96.5 will help. If you have HD receiver, tune to 92.1 fm HD 2. It should be more clear.

Also get The Crab on TuneIn, NextRadio, and Roku.

    3. Yes, we love requests & King Crimson. Will dig him up if we can.

    Thanks for listening!

  11. Just found you today……you guys play a REAL variety of rock and blues songs and not the same old crap over and over again and again 24/7/365 like 96.1 does. I’m so sick of the ? that station plays I could puke! ??

I love what your doing; keep it up! ?

  12. Spent two out of the last three weeks doing company business in Mobile, Alabama…people great, food OK+, company associates first rate. The notable thing that transpired was the discovery of The Crab… the best classic rock radio station that I have heard since the advent of underground FM rock radio in the late 60’s early 70’s. Chock full of great album cuts and b-sides, I thought I died and went to music heaven. I have been immersed in music since the age of 6 (1961), my friends accuse me of being somewhat over the top in my music fixation. Still got 1,500+ vinyl and 2,000+ CDs. My wife is sick of hearing me bitch about so-called classic rock radio with its 200 song burnt out hits playlist. Honestly XM is not much better…I listened to it in my rental and heard the Steely Dan song ‘Black Cow’ 4 times in two days. Now the song and artist are great but 4 times?! You guys /girls are what I’ve dreamed of for years and thanks for streaming so I can listen in Fl. I could kiss your program director on both cheeks. I am spreading the word so your station can live long and prosper. All the best!!!

  13. To quote the great producer Guy Stevens observing Mott The Hoople…”Then I saw these blokes lugging an organ up the stairs, and they were really lugging this fucking great organ up the stairs. It was enormous, a Hammond C3 the size of a piano, and I thought, “I don’t care what they sound like. They’ve done it. They got the organ up the stairs.”
Well I do care about what it sounds like and you have done it. Congratulations!

  14. Love The Crab, but my only complaint is that when you play ” Don’t Fear The Reaper” by BOC, it’s the short version without the intense guitar solo. Just wanted to bring that to someone’s attention. Oh, and play some more Dregs!

  15. I LOVE THIS STATION!! You guys are doing a great job of playing a variety of classic artists and songs. I have been so bored with the repetition from the other stations and you have brought life back to radio in Mobile. Keep on rocking!!

  16. Thanks for opening the vaults and playing songs that most people never hear. Here’s hoping some more Progressive Rock can get out on the airwaves through your efforts.

  17. I like your station but, why are you playing the tribute band “Lynyrd Skynyrd” instead of the original. I have heard a unplugged song, a live song and a original song. Every time I hear them i change the station to you know who. I don’t know anyone who likes them they are more of a country rock thing. Play the real thing, that ended in 1977.
